most people think of gourmet food gifts, they probably think of
vintage wines, fancy chocolates, exotic fruits, and over-priced
nuts, all wrapped up beautifully in a wicker basket. Yes, this is
a very popular type of gourmet food gift, but there are actually

Here are some of our favorite, and slightly more unusual gourmet

for anyone who is missing the delicious food of the South. Of course,
you must thoroughly consider the person you plan on sending pork
chitterlings to before you send them… some people are not
quite as excited about receiving meat on the doorstep as others
are. Also, chitlins are generally only a good gift for those who
already love it. But you can be sure that anyone who loves them
really loves them and would really appreciate this sort of gourmet

olivetta, bacio, gourmet pasta, soups, and other delicious items.
They also have some great recipes. They do not specifically have
gift baskets, but the items that they have for sale still make excellent
gourmet food gifts.

rare tea, imported tea, and specialty tea. You can buy loose tea
or gourmet tea bags. You can come up with a wonderful gourmet food
gift, complete with a teapot or kettle.

full of basic Indian food, an Indian dinner for 4, and other items.

As you can probably tell, already, it is possible to find a great
variety of gourmet food gifts that extend beyond your basic (but
delicious) chocolate gift baskets and cheese gift baskets, etc.
Gourmet food gifts can be given to family members, friends, or
co-workers. You can find ones that are great for just one person
or for a larger group. However, do not give a huge gourmet gift
basket to just one person… it may look fancier, but fresh
meats and fruits, etc. are perishable. Do not force upon the recipient
the stress of having to eat everything before it goes bad!
