shower gifts can be difficult. That is why I have decided
to list some of the most unique and most useful baby shower gifts
that I have seen. Having had 5 kids myself and having been to a
countless number of baby showers, you might just say that I am an
expert on baby shower gifts!
Here are some of my favorite baby shower gifts:
Unique baby shower gifts:
- Hoagie layette set – this baby sandwich looks just like
a hoagie sandwich. Of course, rather than olives on top it has
baby booties, rather than cheese it has terry washcloths, etc.
You can buy one of these at Babies Brides and More, or you can
set out to make your very own!
- Diaper cakes – diaper cakes are actually becoming quite
popular these days. After all, all new parents are going to need
tons and tons of diapers… probably more than they ever imagined
possible. A diaper cake is a fun way to give something as basic
as a diaper. It is also possible to add other baby items to your
cake.
- Laundry Day – if there are many of you who want to go
in on a gift, you can buy a laundry basket and baby laundry soap.
Then you can take a close line and clothespin to it all of the
outfits that you have chosen to buy. This is also a great idea
for displaying baby clothes at the baby shower after they have
been opened. Note: when buying baby clothes, consider buying ones
that are sized larger… the baby is going to grow, and the
parents will still need help!

- Baby oil
- Baby lotion
- Baby bath products (baby shampoo, mild bar soap, etc.)
- Baby blankets
- Onesies
- Sleepers
- Baby crib sheets

Realize that practically no matter what sort of baby shower gifts
you decide to give, they will more than likely be appreciated. It
can be overwhelming to have a new baby, and any help that can be
given is usually more than appreciated.
